Is Shiro free?
Yes. You can chat up to 170 messages a day, create characters and share them without paying. shiro+ adds more messages, a smarter model and no ads.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, in your browser. Open shirochat.com in Safari, sign in, and tap Share → Add to Home Screen to open it like an app.
How do I get the Android app?
Download it from shirochat.com/android. It isn’t on the Play Store yet, so Android may ask you to allow installing it. The app updates itself when a new version is out.
Who can see my chats?
Only you. Your chats are saved to your account so you can continue on any device. Characters you make are private unless you choose to share them, and their personality stays private even then. See our Privacy Policy.
Do characters remember what we talked about?
They remember your 60 most recent messages, on the free plan and with shiro+. Start a new chat any time to begin a fresh story.
Can I chat in my own language?
Yes. Write to a character in your language and it will usually answer in the same one.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, in Settings. It deletes your chats, characters and portraits.
